This section is very easy for students. Students learn important terms and key concepts word to word. Generally, important terms and key concepts consist of 1 word to 30 words, therefore it is very easy to learn and reproduce. Each student has own technique to remember something for a long time, however there are two well tried techniques help students to remember important key terms and concepts for a long time.
1st – Repetition – learning key terms and key concepts so many times and reproducing those points either in terms of re-writing or verbally representation so many times
2nd – Revision – revising key terms and key concept frequently over a period of time (7days/10 days/15 days/30 days
Wise students present important terms and key concepts word to word as it is mentioned in the text book. There is less space and opportunity for students to deviate from the prescribed statement.

Read the chapter thoroughly
Intensive reading helps students in developing a better understanding of the subjects. Contextual reading helps student to remember something for a long time, because key terms, definition, date and differentiation mentioned in the textbook with proper examples. Isolated learning of key terms and different crucial date confuse student at exam time.
Preparing own notes
Since, Social science is vast subject. Students need to develop a comprehensive understanding of complete syllabus. Wise students prepare own notes. It helps student to remember Social Science facts and figure, i.e. mind map, flow chart, pie chart, key points and key terms in simple way.

General students may or may not attempt Map questions; wise students learn properly the skill of “Location Identification and Labelling” different place, i.e. Major countries of First World War/ Nantes, Paris/ Allied Powers – France, England, (Russia), America (History) and India-States with Capitals, Tropic of Cancer, Standard Meridian National Parks : Corbett, Kaziranga, Ranthambor, Shivpuri, Kanha, Simlipal & Manas (Geography) on Map. It is quite technical. Practice location identification and lebelling it on proper map lead towards better understanding of different locations.
