Human beings possess millions of observable and non-observable traits. Generally, educator becomes judgmental rather than an alert and minute observer. Every single act of student will not come under misbehaviour. A wise educator perceives different human traits on different layers and find out the logical solutions of students’ misbehaviour. We need not worry to create Utopian Society. We deal with smart kids (technological smart if not academical smart). We always need to handle these smart kids with care, love and affection. Never ever leave a space for a student to form a negative outlook for you. Always keep open interaction with students to form a positive attitude towards learning, academic, peers and school. Nobody is inferior and nobody is superior. Every child perceives life circumstances in a unique way.  Child’s uniqueness reflects in his thought process. We learn something new and unique things everyday in our life. An individual gets learning opportunities every moment.

We sense our learning in each passed minutes, hours and days. Child lives in his own world. S/he considers world’s problem in his own way. S/he interprets an incident and a situation at different life perspectives. A Child observation, feelings and life perspectives surprises us every moment and every interaction with him.

We were talking with class 3rd kids (8-9 years old) boys and girls in an informal interaction. Teacher asked a question” Kaun Harta Hai/Who losses/who is looser”.  It was surprising moment for the teacher. Children were enthusiastically touching different aspects of “loosing” in our life. They shared different characteristics of a looser. It means, they know the qualities of a winner.

Basically, they identified various aspects of losing in life. They correlated losing with (a) sports (b) battle (c) learning styles (d) examination (e) proper practice (f) positive attitude. Teacher used “Brainstorming” technique to feel the pulse of students. They know techniques of winning in all walks of life. A sensible educator sensitizes child’s senses and motivates them to achieve desired goal in life.

Characteristics of a looser in different walks of life:-

Sports: – Who does not play good?

Battle: – Who does not go to battlefield? (Taking Initiative) (b) Who does not win in battle? (c) Who returns home without fighting? (Struggling attitude)

Examination: – Who does not prepare for an exam? (Preparation) (b) Who does not pass in the test? (c) Who scored less marks in an exam?

Learning styles: – Who does not learn? (b) Whose handwriting is not good? (c) Whose writing speed is very slow?

Proper practice: – Who is very lazy? (b) Who does not work hard? 

Child knows very well that if s/he will work very hard and do proper practice then only we will be a winner otherwise person will be looser in his life.

Educator asked second question to the students, “Who would win/wins/is winner?”

 Educator encourages every learner to come out with proper answer. What do they think? Who wins in life? Who is winner in life? Once again children touched most essential feature of a winner or winning attitude. Children were confident on most essential feature, “working hard” and “working hard on time”.

They came up with interesting answers which reflected their awareness. Ms. Pritu said, “Who will save water; will be a winner” and Ms.Yaksha shared that “who will respect elder; will be a winner” and Ms. Pratiksha wrote that “who will follow good manner; will be a winner”.

Although, these human essential values may not directly help to become a winner but subconsciously and consciously it helps to develop a positive attitude. In fact, positive attitude is essential characteristic for winning a situation/battle and learning life skills.

Educator instills essential human values in each and every child of a class. The fact, every child is unique. God creates inbuilt good human being for the universe. Our parent, society, teacher, and school nurtures inherent talent of an individual. He shows us right path to walk and to achieve goal of our life, “a skilled personality with human values”. They already exhibit different skills and essential human values. Our core task is to make them realize the importance of right values of life at right time to become an integrated personality. Our core task is to give them right direction at right time. Our core task is to make the sensible and wise world citizen who can think for cosmic peace and prosperity.

Examination Hall: Excellent and Essential Tips for Performing well in an Examination

An examination system evaluates factual understanding, conceptual understanding and global understanding of prescribed syllabus and designed curriculum. Examination system assesses individual’s capability to interpret learning in his own language. It is not merely test of knowledge. Examination system evaluates persistent and consistent quality of an individual. It tests the attitude of an individual i.e. how does an individual perform better in extreme pressure. Examination examines individual’s overall personality. Examination systems examine individual’s desire to learn, desire to explore, desire to investigate and desire to apply learning in real life situation.

We get a systematic designed question paper in the examination hall. We solve question paper within a designed time schedule. Recalling is a tough task; it heavily depends on mental status of an individual. A good student plans very well, executes planning timely, analyzes situations and works on weak area to face the challenges of an examination. A good student reaches examination hall timely and secure his berth at right place in the examination hall. He carries all valuable items i.e. admit card, identity card, pen, pencil and other stationery items to avoid chaos in the examination hall. He occupies his seat in the examination hall. A good student studies very hard in whole academic year. Seating in the examination hall; if we perform well, we will be winner and if we neglect basics, we will be loser; we do not have other option and alternate. A good student performs following tasks in the examination hall.

 

Read the mentioned instructions of question paper thoroughly

He reads his question paper thoroughly to develop an understanding nature of questions. A question paper consists of different types of questions. A wise student reads each instruction carefully to avoid doing big mistake. He designs a plan for each and every question. Review of question paper gives an insight for designing a plan and making strategy to answer different questions in a different pace. Intensive reading of question paper helps us to decide the way of answering according to the nature of questions.

Over excitement is prohibited if you feel to attempt all questions

 A good student reads question paper properly. When he reads the question paper; it may be possible that he knows all questions’ answer or it may appear very easy but a critical thinker tries to understand the meaning of question. When he interprets properly, it will be easy to answer the given questions. He evaluates his own ability and command for given question.

Over stress is prohibited if you feel difficulty to attempt some of questions

Since, we are under pressure to perform well in the examination; it may be possible that at first instance a few questions appear too tough to be answered. It may be happened in mental pressure or it may be really difficult but in both the cases wise student keeps his shoulder high. It may be possible that during academic session, you had gone through the concept. If you feel that question’s language is difficult to understand; “give proper time to yourself, feel relax and once again read the question, it will help you to recall. Generally, language may be different or difficult but wise learner extracts right meaning for writing quality answer. Neither feels very happy nor feels very sad during reading questions; our task is to develop right understanding for given questions. No need to be hurry and feel sad in both the above cases.

Make sure your answer is relevant for the questions

A confident learner ensures that whatever he knows; he reproduces his factual and conceptual knowledge by using appropriate language while writing answer. We should take care of content and word limit in check for writing quality answer. Our answer should be precise and concrete because they will check our knowledge through the answer. Our answer should be relevant and rational. We use appropriate words and meaningful sentences for expressing our knowledge.

Easy to complex

We have to keep our confidence in check during examination. Move on to the next questions once you get stuck with a difficult question. Avoid wasting your precious time at trapped point. Return back to the difficult one or complex one question after sometimes, surely you will be able to write, since you have already read even difficult one in your textbooks. But never leave a question unanswered. Make sure that you have answered all questions.

Keep open eyes during selecting optional questions

Examination evaluates an individual’s attitude and aptitude.  Good students always keep themselves on alert mode because they read the question paper properly before starting writing answer. It has been analyzed that student has written all questions in an extremely mental pressure but on the other hand he has to write only one out of two questions. It is completely wastage of time and energy. Read instructions carefully to avoid big mistakes. Be an alert student!

Plan Time: Distribute judicious time to each and every question

A question paper consists of different types of question for checking students’ different ability within a time frame. A standard question paper is well designed by experienced and expert people. They distribute proper time to each and every question so that they keep word limit procedure. Question designer designs questions to check learners’ understanding through leading question pattern from easy to complex. We should not waste too much time on a single question which kills the time of other question.

Plan time in a systematic manner to do proper revision before final answer sheet submission

We should plan our time properly so that we have enough time to revise our written answers. Generally it is observed that we know the correct spelling of a word but could write wrongly on the paper later on which creates negative impression in teacher’s mind. We know the correct answer but in an extreme pressure, we could not write meaningful content. When we finish our paper within the time frame, we are able to revise our answer and correct or edit our mistakes.

Recheck your personal information before submitting your answer sheet

A student works hard in an academic session to reach next level in his academic life. We take so much pain so it is most important for us to check our personal information before submitting answer sheet because after then we will not get chance to correct it any more. A small mistake can become a big hurdle for us. So write you own code number/roll number/other identification prescribed by the authority for B/C answer sheets/supplementary answer sheet. Staple or tied them properly before final submission.

  • Review the questions in the question paper
  • Check your command on the mentioned questions
  • Over excitement is prohibited if you feel to attempt all questions

Fear of examination: What are the basic reasons for fear of examination?

We are integral part of an examination driven system. Our capability is judged by our performance in the examination. Examination system truly evaluates attitude and aptitude of an individual. Examination system assesses persistent and consistent quality of an individual. An examination system evaluates our consistent nature for performing a task over a period of time. We prepare in advance for appear in an examination.

Generally, it is observed that if an individual studies consistently thorough out an academic year; he performs exceptionally well. Examination system evaluates our desire to learn, our desire to understand and our desire to do more and more practice over a period of time.

A good academic performer studies properly and rationally in an academic year. He properly plans ahead for walking miles and miles on known and unknown world of knowledge. He minutely analyzes existing curriculum, syllabus and question patterns for timely preparation for an examination.

We are unique. Indeed, each student wants to do well in studies, but conversion of thinking into action on real ground makes all the differences******Is it so, isn’t it? What do you think?   What are the reasons of failure and disinterestedness in studies?

Too much thinking but less study during an academic session

This subject is easy. That subject is very difficult.

We know the fact that we have to study these subjects and units. We know the fact that each subject has equal importance. If we have no choice; if we have choice and we have selected concerned subject then,  is there any need to differentiate or leave without proper study>

Thinking too much without proper study

Our task is to know our curriculum and syllabus. Our task is to study prescribed syllabus not to think and think without study>

Showing too much love for a single or more than one subject

Generally, human being loves to choose comfortable side rather than selecting a little difficult side for the betterment. We choose difficult thing under a coercion situation. If we have choice, we enjoy it rightly at appropriate time. We have to complete our prescribed syllabus in a given duration. Smart students start working on it and other develops love for one subject and leave other main subject for the God sake. He does not want to study one or two core subjects other than favorite subject i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Math group (2 subjects intensive study, one subject untouched for whole academic year).

How to make notes?

Smart student initiates reading and learning text but so many students keep themselves busy on thinking ‘how’ but do not initiate learning properly and timely. Smart student develops his own tool and techniques and rest of students think so much for selecting better one.

No proper study before the examination, only vague thinking and void planning

Examination creates fear when we do not do proper study and had wasted our time on vague thinking.

 Keep highest expectation without adequate study of prescribed syllabus 

Thinking high is first step of a high ladder but we have to put our first foot on first step to go on to second step. Keeping both the feet on ground and thinking to reach at highest points never helps us in growing. When we expect high without adequate study & without reasonable practice then its result is negative rather frustrating. *Expecting to get highest grades/marks*

Mind wanders  from one thing to another i.e. collecting so much resource material but could not read them before the examination

 Too much weak in a subject, * No proper study*, *No textbook reading*, *No writing practice* = Only worry*

 Parents, relative, favorite teachers**क्या सोचेंगे अगर**,  **If not then@

We are socially dependent on each other for more than thousand reasons. We are socially connected to each other. Each one has expectation with another one. It is fine. It has no harm but at the same time we have to understand it that It is “I” who will do something for me; my family member can only provide timely support. It is “I” who will complete my prescribed syllabus my family member and my friend will not do it for me. Let them to think! I will do adequate study with relevant materials and proper time management.

What will happen if results will be poor?

A Good person starts doing work timely. Thinking ahead is good but in the beginning, middle and during the examination, our main task is to perform well but not to think of examination result right now. Whatever we can do it right now, will do it right now that is to complete our prescribed syllabus. We will plan and develop strong will power to execute our planning. Later I will think—-
